RTI... a good thing for India

When the Central Government passed the RTI (Right to Information Act) bill sometime back, I was more than happy. For I knew this is one among several good measures taken by the Government that would help crib the corruption and expose frauds. And a true example is right here. All we need now is to make good utilization of this act and help make India better.

Hello friend!
I came to your blog through a link in youthcurry. Your writings are very sensible and thought provoking. I went through some of your previous posts too and I agree with many of the points you have raised. Especially, the ones regarding reservation. As long as we have narrrow minded politicians, we will still be a developing country. We need a big political revolution. Over a night, all the politicians should vaporize into thin air and in their vacuum should come honest men whose goal is to enable faster development based programmes!! Though this is a dream, let us wish it happens soon!
Cheers!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Venkat... the solution to the problems that India is facing today will not come overnight, it will come gradually and slowly and with many hurldes, but the good sign is that it is comming. With some sensible man like Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh into powers.... definitely I see India changing. I myself was a pro-BJPite till we had Manmohan Singh bringing up some excellent reforms and Sonia bashing on her own party leaders for frauds/corruption.
I did'nt see that in BJP, though we have some good men like Vajpayee there. Advani and party had been cheating on us with shouts of Hindutva.
